Alhamdulillah, through the infinite mercy and kindness of Allah SWT, the second shipment of Aid facilitated by Ashraful Aid has been delivered to the intended recipients in Gaza. This shipment was sent from Egypt in early March this year by our South African team and contains much needed basic supplies for our fellow muslims negatively impacted by the crisis in Gaza.

With 1.1 million Palestinians facing imminent, man-made famine in Gaza following a nearly six-month-long military campaign and siege, humanitarian efforts have been hampered and in some cases completely halted. The UN reports a need of over 500 food trucks a day for the victims with only 10% actually delivering aid. After a long arduous 3 week journey, Alhamdulillah, the trucks facilitated for by AshAid is amongst the convoy that has managed to get through the border and blockades.
