Water Distribution – Adelaide – Eastern Cape, South Africa

The town of Adelaide in the Eastern Cape has recently suffered loss due to extreme drought. Ashraful Aid responded to Councillor Ernie Lombard’s appeal for any assistance in helping quench the needs of the community and their livestock. The dam can be seen as a far stretch of barren land and does not resemble in the slightest, that a body of water once stood there. #ZeroHunger Movement

The Ashraful Aid #ZeroHunger Movement was oficially launcged on World Hunger Day – 16th October 2019. Our aim is to create Zero Hunger. Water Distribution – Allemansdrift

On the 16th of September 2019, the Ashraful Aid team was in Allemansdrift – a rural town in Mpumalanga, South Africa. Due to Municipal problems, this town is suffering a water crisis. The Ashraful Aid team donated 5l water bottles to residents on the day. With the help of our generous donors, 10000 liters of water was donated in less than a week.
