Qurbani 2024 with Ashraful Aid

Also known as Udhiya, Qurbani the Islamic tradition of sacrificing an animal, usually a goat, sheep, cow, or camel, as an act of worship and in commemoration of the Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son, Ismail, in obedience to Allah.

Every year, Alhamdulillah Ashraful Aid makes it possible for donors to perform their qurbani, qurbani for deceased and our Prophet SAW at an affordable rate in comparison to the local prices in South Africa. For many of our recipients, this is the only time in the year that they are able to eat meat.

Being a part of Ashraful aid’s Qurbani South Africa campaign is a meaningful way to support the less fortunate and give back to the community.

Ashraful Aid facilitates Qurbani done around Africa at affordable prices with the entire carcass donated to impoverished communities. 

We offer our donors the option of Purchase a GOAT for Qurbani slaughter distribution in Malawi for R950.00 OR Purchase a share of a COW for slaughter distribution in South Africa for R2000.00. 

Prices includes Slaughtering, Slicing, Packaging and Distribution. Qurbani orders will be completed over 3 days of Eid ul Adha.

The Qurbani 2024 initiative by Ashraful aid has a profound effect on the lives of numerous people and families. The charity not only meets the fundamental nutritional requirements of individuals who might otherwise go without, but also contributes to the development of a sense of community, solidarity, and compassion.

Aisha (RA) narrated that the Prophet (SAW) said: “There is no dearer deed of Ibn Adam in the days of Qurbani than flowing the blood (doing Qurbani), and that animal will come with his horns, hairs, and hooves on the day of Qayamat. The blood of the Qurbani reaches the stage of acceptance before it reaches the floor.”

“It is neither their flesh nor their blood that reaches Allah, but it is your Taqwa that reaches Him…” (Surah Hajj)

Sayeduna Ibn Abbas (Radi Allahu anhu) narrates that the Beloved Prophet (Swall Allahu alaihi wasallam) said, “The wealth which is spent on Qurbani on the day of Eid, there is no dearer wealth than it. (Tabrani)
