Ashraful Aid in partnership with Lions Cricket teamed up to get their braai stands out on Friday, September 24th at the iconic Imperial Wanderers Stadium to braai and donate 5000 burgers. Braai’d by volunteers, the burgers were donated to various charities, communities and cricket clubs on the day. The Braai for Charity initiative kicked off Ashraful Aid’s annual Donate A Plate campaign which supports the UNICEF Global Goal of Zero Hunger and aims to reduce hunger amongst the most vulnerable. Donate A Plate will continue with various community feeding initiatives over the next two months.
