Feedback from KZN projects

Ashraful Aid embarked on several trips from Johannesburg to KZN providing much needed grocery items to those affected by the July unrest in KZN.
Distribution was divided into three phases:
Phase 1:
Distribution of over 5000 grocery hampers, 15,000 loaves of bread, 5000 litres of milk and at least 3.4 tons of baby food, formula and other baby essentials. In total approximately 50 tons of groceries were transported via road and air.
Phase 2:
Due to the overwhelming request for further support with baby formula, sanitary pads and nappies a further 7 tons of baby products and food hampers were delivered to various areas of KZN.
Phase 3:
Ashraful Aid supported the Consumer Goods Council of South Africa to deliver 4300 hampers to 10 of the most vulnerable and needy communities across rural KZN. 260 tons of groceries were delivered over a period of a week to Jozini, Msinga, Harding, Ixopo, Ndwedwe, Mpumalanga (KZN), Richmond, Port Edward, Mandeni and Dalton.
