Description

Help us raise R30000 to empower the Ray of Hope Sewing Skills Centre in Douglas, Northern Cape.

Douglas is a small town near Kimberly in the Northern Cape. Many of the mines in the area have closed down; meaning unemployment is rife in the area. This has affected women and children the most.

Through sewing, the Ray of Hope Sewing Skills Centre aims to train women to become entrepreneurs by teaching them sewing and business skills.

Ashraful Aid has pledged to raise funds to purchase new equipment such as sewing and embroidery machines, fabric and other materials to help empower the women of Douglas.
