Ashraful Aid has been raising funds for the water crisis underway in Nelson Mandela Bay in the Eastern Cape. Our team was in Port Elizabeth to distribute the water purchased with the money received. We have managed to secure 4000x 5 litre water bottles, each of which cost R12. The municipality is in urgent need of water as dams around the area are at an all time low and residents are facing dire straits without water to assist them in carrying out their daily tasks.
